What we do

Retrofit assessments and EPCs

PAS 2035 retrofit assessments, RdSAP modelling and lodged EPCs, with floor plans where they are needed. One visit, one report you can act on.

Modelling before you commit

Pre- and post-improvement models, funding viability, variance and exemption evidence. We tell you whether a job stacks up before anyone spends money.

Portfolio and estate surveys

The whole stock looked at together: what each property needs, what it will cost, what funding exists, in an order you can budget for.

Compliance support for coordinators and installers

Audit-fail reviews, evidence packs, supplier-query responses, and the assessment groundwork for designs that a qualified Retrofit Coordinator signs off.

How a job runs

  1. Survey and evidence

A site survey with the occupier present, with the measurements and photographs that will stand up later.

  2. Model and cost, pre and post

The property as it is and as it would be after the works, with each measure priced.

  3. Options and priorities you can budget

What to do first, what can wait, and which funding applies to which measure.

  4. Design and coordination with a qualified RC

Coordination and designs are signed off by the chartered Retrofit Coordinator we work with. Seren does the assessment, the modelling and the groundwork.

  5. Install evidence and an audit-ready file

Evidence gathered through the works and filed so that an audit finds what it needs.

Track record

2,500+retrofit surveysMatt's own survey records
75%+went on to funded worksof those surveys, from the same records
400+homes in one landlord programmegrown from a single tenant enquiry
10+years on the schemesgovernment-funded home energy programmes, much of it in Wales

I listen to the occupier's concerns, explain findings plainly and plan work with their circumstances in mind. Gaining trust and keeping people informed matter as much as getting the technical recommendations right. I understand how measures affect one another, and the importance of addressing the underlying cause rather than the symptom.
